Whipped Feta and Honey Toasts

Salty + creamy whipped feta gets topped with sweet honey for an unforgettable combo that pairs perfectly with golden garlic toasts. It’s super easy to make and so yummy.

Ingredients

  • 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2 inch thick slices
  • 4 oz container of feta crumbles or about 1 cup
  • 4 oz cream cheese (1/2 block)
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 23 tbsp honey
  • 34 sprigs fresh thyme

Instructions

  1. In a small mixing bowl, add the feta and cream cheese. Use an electric mixer to beat until creamy/fluffy.whipped feta
  2. Heat oven to broil or turn on broiler. Arrange baguette slices on baking sheets lined with parchment paper. Broil for 2-3 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from oven and immediately rub each slice with a peeled garlic clove.raw garlic clove being rubbed on a toasted slice of a baguette
  3. Place whipped feta in serving bowl, drizzle with desired amount of honey. Sprinkle with fresh thyme.honey being drizzled over a bowl with whipped feta

Notes

Honey – you probably don’t want to drizzle the entire amount of honey right off the bat but it depends on your serving dish. Mine was deep and narrow so I just drizzle the top with a bit and kept the extra honey in a small bowl with a honey dripper so more honey could be added as the cheese was eaten. you can do the same with thyme. Reserve a little to serve along side so guests/you can add more as you eat. Enjoy!
