TURKEY MEATBALLS (NO BREADCRUMBS)

-Ground turkey -Egg -Lemon zest -Onion -Dried basil -Dried oregano -Garlic powder -Fresh parsley -Crushed red pepper flakes (optional) -Parmesan cheese -Olive oil -Salt & pepper

Combine all ingredients except turkey in a large mixing bowl. Use a fork to beat the egg and combine with seasonings. Add turkey and use your hands to mix it with the seasonings until fully combined.

Scoop 1 1/2 tbsp of the meat mixture with a cookie scoop. Roll each ball with your hands and place on a baking sheet. You can either pop them straight in the oven like this or you can cook them in a skillet on the stove.

Bake (or pan fry) for about 15 mins at 400F until internal temp of meatballs is 165F. Try serving these with spaghetti or lasagna. Enjoy!
