THE EASIEST SOURDOUGH DISCARD PIZZA CRUST (NO YEAST)

– All-purpose flour  – Sourdough discard – Warm water – Salt – Sugar

Combine sourdough starter and lukewarm water in a large bowl. Let stand for 3 minutes.

Add sugar and stir. Add oil, salt, (add garlic powder and herbs if using) then 3 cups of flour. Turn out onto a floured surface once it looks like this.

Turn out onto a liberally floured work-surface and knead gently until the mixture comes together to form a smooth ball (about 8-10 times). If the dough is still very sticky, knead in the extra 1/4 cup of flour.

Place the ball of dough in a clean bowl, cover with a paper towel and allow to rise for 3-4 hours. 

Press dough into pan, pressing gently with your fingertips all over the dough. Add desired toppings and bake for about 30 minutes at 400F (until cheese is melted and dough is beginning to brown.
