CHOCOLATE SOURDOUGH CAKE

Cake:  -All-purpose flour -Cocoa powder -Granulated sugar -Baking soda -Baking powder -Salt -Vanilla -Eggs -Sourdough starter -Vegetable oil -Hot coffee or water -Milk -Vinegar

Frosting: -Butter -Cocoa powder -Powdered sugar -Vanilla -Salt -Coffee or milk

In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients using a whisk. Then whisk in the wet ingredients. Stir in the hot coffee last.

Pour batter into a 13 X 9 baking pan. Bake at 350F for 25-35 minutes.

To make frosting, beat softened butter until creamy. Add cocoa powder, powdered sugar, salt, vanilla and milk, then beat until fully combined. Frost cake and enjoy!
