LAVENDER HOT CHOCOLATE

-2 tbsp cocoa powder -2 tbsp granulated or cane sugar -pinch of salt -1/2 tsp vanilla extract -3 tsp dried culinary lavender -1 1/4 cups whole milk

In a mug, combine cocoa powder, sugar, salt and vanilla.

Then combine lavender and milk in a small pot and cook over medium-low heat until it starts to bubble. This will take about 8 minutes.

Then strain the milk through a small mesh sieve into your mug to remove the lavender.

Use a mini whisk to vigorously whisk the lavender hot chocolate together.
