KUMQUAT UPSIDE-DOWN CAKE

-Kumquats -Butter -Brown sugar -Flour -Baking powder -Salt -Granulated sugar -Vanilla -Egg -Milk

Slice kumquats into 1/4 inch slices, removing the seeds as you go.

Melt butter and add it to the bottom a 10-in baking pan with brown sugar and mix well. Arrange kumquat slices in an even layer over the mixture. Whisk flour, baking powder and salt in a small bowl and set aside.

Make batter by beating butter, sugar, egg, milk, vanilla and flour mixture until combined. Pour batter over kumquat slices. Bake 35-45 mins.

After removing from the oven, immediately invert onto a plate. Enjoy!
