After combining dry ingredients, add butter and cut in w/ a pasty blender. Add milk, sour cream and egg, then stir. 

Roll dough into a circle and flatten to about 1/2 inch thick. Cut into 8 slices.  Arrange on a parchment lined baking sheet.
