Honey Scones

Combine flour baking powder and salt in a mixing bowl

Cut in butter with a pastry blender until pea-sized lumps form

Add honey, sour cream, milk and one egg *beaten* and stir gently with a fork until the dough begins to come together. 

Turn the dough out onto a clean, floured work surface.

Knead dough gently until it comes together to form a smooth dough and can be shaped into a ball. Then flatten into a disc.

Cut into 8 slices and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment. Brush on egg wash.

Bake for 13-15 minutes, until scones are golden brown.
