CARROT GINGER  JUICE

– 1 cup chopped carrots – 1 medium sized apple, chopped – 3/4 inch knob turmeric, peeled and grated – 3/4 inch knob ginger, peeled and grated – juice of half a lemon, about 1 tbsp – 1 1/2 cups water

Chop the carrot and apple. Peel 3/4 inch knob of turmeric and ginger. Use a microplane to grate. You want about 1 tsp of each. 

Place all of the ingredients into a high-power blender and blend until smooth. 

Strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve and serve over ice!
