ACAI BOWLS WITH TRADER JOE'S ACAI

Acai is a tart berry found in South American rainforests. It’s a superfood with a wide variety of health benefits like antioxidants, fiber, heart healthy fats and calcium. Acai is typically sold frozen and pureed in the US because of the berries’ extremely short shelf life. I prefer using Trader Joe's frozen acai packets because they contain no added sugar, unlike other acai I've found. You can of course use any acai you like, I just prefer Trader Joe’s!

-Acai puree packet -Frozen strawberries -Frozen blueberries -Dates -Peanut butter -Spinach -Oat milk (or whatever kind of milk you like)

To use an acai packet, run the packet under warm water for a few moments, breaking the puree up a little bit while it’s still in the packet.

Place all ingredients (liquid first) into the blender and blend until smooth. The mixture will be very thick and you may need to stir the mixture a couple of times.

Top with granola and berries if desired.
