Trick-or-Treat Reject No Bake Fudge

When life gives you boring trick-or-treat goodies make fudge!

no bake fudge with pretzels, peanuts and popcorn cut into squares

I’m not a Halloween lover but I do love this salty and sweet Halloween-inspired no bake fudge. I took a little inspiration from those little ”treats” that no one really wanted in their trick-or-treat bag. Pretzels, peanuts and popcorn are not bad in and of themselves, but they just couldn’t compare to all that extra sweet halloween candy! Butttt when you pair them with smooth dark chocolate, they turn into a classy little treat that everyone will love. Let’s make it!

How to make no bake fudge

If you’ve ever made no bake fudge, you know its super easy! if you haven’t, now you do! The only cooking you’ll need to do is in the microwave.

Just place the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla and a pinch of salt in the microwave on high for one minute intervals until melted.

Then mix in your pretzels, peanuts, popcorn and sprinkles, reserving a little for the top so it looks pretty.

Oh and you’ll also want to line an 8×8 baking pan with parchment and spray it with nonstick spray before spreading the mixture into the pan.

Then allow it to set in the refrigerator for 4 hours.

Remove from the pan and cut into desired size squares. I like to top it with sea salt (affiliate link) because it just enhances the sweet chocolate so nicely and I just can’t help but sprinkle a little on most chocolatey sweet treats!

Enjoy!

Storage and shelf life

Keep this fudge in an airtight container in the fridge if you’ll just be eating it at your leisure at home as opposed to bringing it to an event/potluck. It’s best for up to one week, but you could probably push it to two 😉

  4. Spread the mixture into the pan evenly and top with extra peanuts, pretzels and popcorn. I don't recommend topping with popcorn as it will get stale being exposed to the air for a long period of time.
