Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I’m making turkey burgers! Before you start yawning, hear this: curry powder + apricot jam + garlic + red onion + parsley + ginger + paprika + turkey = flavor that is off the charts good. Also, look at them and you’ll probably feel better about this whole thing.

These turkey burgers got it going on. I love them love them love them. It was one of those meals that is so satisfying you don’t even want dessert. You just feel satisfied. Which isn’t a really flashy hyperbole of a word that we sometimes like to use on food blogs but it’s a real word, with meaning, and if you really think about it – how appealing does being satisfied sound? Sounds pretty nice to me. Yes part of me wants to say these ARE LIKE THE BEST BURGERS EVER OMG. PERFECT. EVERYTHING. THEY GIVE ME LIFE. ETC. but today, no. They are satisfying. The end.

I like to have these burgers with sweet potato fries! I think the sweetness of the fries compliments the burger nicely.

Toppings for turkey burgers

As far as burger toppings, pickled onions and butter lettuce are a must for me. Avocado is great too. And the day after I photographed these, I had a leftover burger the next day for lunch with roasted red pepper and man, it was perfect. Highly recommend that!
