Ruby Chocolate Recipes
Remember ruby chocolate? Earlier last year I had fun exploring ways to use this special pink chocolate and I thought February would be a great time for a little ruby chocolate recipe round up!
What is ruby chocolate?
At first glance, it may not look like chocolate but ruby chocolate is actually made from cocoa beans so it is a type of chocolate. It’s newly developed, compared to regular chocolate, and doesn’t seem to be super common yet. But I was able to find ruby chips at Sprouts Market which might be an indicator that it’s making its way into the mainstream.
What does ruby chocolate taste like?
Ruby chocolate has a distinct fruity taste. It’s slightly tart, and reminds me of raspberries. It’s texture is extremely smooth, similar to white chocolate. It melts easily and makes a great addition to lots of baked goods and treats.
