Ingredients
Pumpkin Spice Simple Syrup
- Canned pumpkin
- Brown sugar
- Water
- Vanilla
- Ground Spices: cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and clove
All ingredients you very well may have in your pantry now! I still had two cans of pumpkin from last year lol. They were still good! If you have pumpkin pie spice, you can also just use that instead of the individual spices. I would say about 1.5 tsp should do it.
How to make pumpkin spice simple syrup
Making this pumpkin spice simple syrup is as easy as making any other simple syrup!
All the ingredients go into a pot over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved.
Cook until gently boiling.
Simmer for about 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and let it cool!
You can strain it to remove some of the pumpkin pulp if you like!
Enjoy your pumpkin syrup in coffee and homemade lattes!
A handheld milk frother (affiliate link) is a fun tool to make your lattes feel extra fancy! This is also delicious on top of vanilla ice cream!
How to store it
Store this simple syrup in the refrigerator in a glass jar for 7-10 days.
