Honey Cinnamon Latte ingredients
To make an iced cinnamon honey latte, you will need:
- Ground coffee (affiliate link) – I prefer to buy whole bean coffee and grind it myself, but if pre-ground is all you have, go for it.
- Honey (affiliate link) – I like to go with raw/unfiltered honey, but again, use what you have.
- Milk – You can use any milk you prefer. If I want to be dairy-free usually go with oat milk, if not I like 2% milk.
- Water & Ice
- Sea salt (affiliate link) – This is optional but really enhances the flavors in this drink and it just makes a homemade coffee drink feel a little more special.
You will need the same ingredients to make a hot latte, just no iced of course. Specific instructions will be on the recipe card!
How to make a Cinnamon Honey Latte at home
Brew extra strong coffee
To make this latte without espresso, brew strong coffee in a french press (affiliate link). This recipe makes one latte. You will use 4 tablespoons of ground coffee and 1/2 cup of boiling water to brew.
About 4 minutes in the french press is the perfect amount of time.
Add honey & cinnamon
Add honey and cinnamon to the hot coffee/espresso so the honey can dissolve. Now is also the time to add that little pinch of sea salt if you’re using it!
Add milk & ice
Add your milk of choice to the honey and coffee mixture. Adding the milk before adding the ice is important to prevent watering down the latte.
Enjoy
Enjoy the delicious latte you’ve made for yourself and the feeling of saving a few bucks 🙂 These pair perfectly with a honey scone!

Recipe FAQs
Is honey in a latte good?
Not only is honey in a latte really good, it’s actually a little better for you since honey is a more natural form of sugar. Plus you are using straight honey, not some sort of honey flavoring that some coffee shops might use.
If using espresso, how much?
If you’d rather use espresso in your honey latte, brew 2 shots.
Can I double this recipe?
Yes, you can easily double this recipe and it will still turn out great!
How much cinnamon to mix in with honey?
So the recipe just calls for a pinch. Which if measured, is probably about and 1/8 tsp. You can add to your taste! But probably wouldn’t want much more than 1/8 tsp.
