Pumpkin Patch Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting
Hello there! Today’s post is one of those “idea” posts more than it is a recipe. Idea = make cute little cupcakes that look like pumpkins by frosting them orange and sticking a green licorice in them. Done.
For the cake I used one of my favorite chocolate cake recipes from Food52, I’ve shared about it before in my Happy Birthday Fig Jar Post. It also happens to be a gluten free cake which is great if you’re into that sort of thing. If you’re not, it’s just a really good chocolate cake recipe. Link here.
I made a cream cheese frosting and that was a great decision. Cream cheese and chocolate, c’mon. So good.
