I would be lying if I didn’t tell you that I am eating a cookie literally as I’m writing this. They are a staple of our home. And they’re especially in demand when the dreaded time changes and it becomes acceptable to turn on the oven every night for fresh cookies straight from the oven (We live in California where we celebrate – a.k.a. mourn daylight savings time). But I digress.
